Biography

The Bio
KAREN HYLES was born and raised in Guyana, South America. She later came to America and lived in California, where she gave birth to her son, Isaiah A. Ross. Although Karen suffers with chronic physical pain, known as fibromyalgia, due to being hit by an out-of-control truck while waiting at a bus stop, she does not let that stop her from doing the work of Jesus Christ.

Fourteen years ago, the Lord gave Karen a vision for ministry. He showed her Genesis 17:16, which says,“And she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be from her.” And He told her three times, “As a mother of nations, I want to see my children healed, healthy, and whole.”

The foundational scripture for Karen’s ministry is 2 Corinthians 3:2–3, which reads, “… you are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly
you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.”

“The Epistle” is Karen’s trademark. She says, “I am the Epistle and the pen of the Lord written to my generation.” Karen shares the Lord by writing epistles, letters and books, to orphans, troubled youth, foreign children, juvenile delinquents, men and women in prison, and others that take them on an adventure with Christ Jesus so that, through Him, they can find healing and be made healthy and whole. Karen now lives in Seattle, Washington.
